Just in time for the Topaz II Wellington & Tawa Masters next weekend, we’ve just released a new version of Tournament Control with a big new feature: it can now send emails to players.
You can write any content that you like for the email, and use simple formatting (bold, italics, colour, etc.) to make it look great. Using “short codes” (special phrases inside […] square brackets) you can easily customise the emails to include the player’s name, their first game date/time, their opponent’s name, and a few other things. Email templates can be saved and loaded so they can be re-used for other tournaments. This should make one more job for the tournament organiser that much easier.
