Our new Tournament Control program made a very successful debut at the MIB Kapiti Open squash tournament this weekend and received a lot of positive feedback from tournament organisers and players alike. Club Captain Chris McKenzie said that it only took him about 1 hour to produce the draws using the system, rather than the usual 5 or 6 hours. Despite some initial “techno-phobia”, club members running the tournament were surprised at how easy it was to keep the board updated as the tournament progressed.
For sure we discovered a few minor teething problems, and the need for some additional functionality to make things even easier, but you can rest assured that we will be working to address these as soon as possible.
