We will be running Tournament Control at the Pelorus Trust Wellington Junior Open this weekend, and at their request we have added a few new features:
Full Tournament Import – If you have already setup your tournament in iSquash, you can now extract the player registrations and draws from iSquash and import them straight into Tournament Control, and your tournament will be ready to go immediately!
Game Comments – You can now set a comment on each game that is displayed on the tournament board. This can be used, for example, when a national referee is needed for a game.
Game Tabs Status Color – Are all those draw colours displayed on the tournament board a bit confusing? Well, now you have the option of using game status colours instead, or even hiding the game tabs altogether.
Court Changing – We’ve made it easier to change the court that a game is on: simply right-click on the game, choose the new court and press Apply. You can even take a game off court altogether and it will be returned to the “scheduled games” section at the bottom.
Thanks Simon and Nick – we found these enhancements really useful in running the Wellington Junior Open over the weekend. We had lots of positive comments from players and parents about the flash new system. It certainly puts the old whiteboard “system” to shame! Great initiative – it will be good to see your software used more widely in future.
